Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole ties the knot with sweetheart Zoe Hobbs

Strictly star Brendan Cole has put his years of womanising behind him to waltz his girlfriend Zoe Hobbs up the aisle.
Brendan, 34, who has just finished his Live And Unjudged Tour, swept his partner off her feet for a ceremony in front of friends such as show host Bruce Forsyth.
The couple posed for wedding photos in this week’s Hello! magazine with stars such as Forsyth and Brendan’s fellow professional dancer, Anton Du Beke.

And Brendan, who could not hold back the tears as his bride came down the aisle in a Peter Langner gown, told the magazine: ‘She takes my breath away.’
New Zealand-born dancer Cole, 34, met the 29-year-old model at a birthday party for mutual friend Rick Parfitt Jnr just over two years ago.
The Latin American dancing specialist recalled: ‘She walked across, said hello and I nearly fell over. I literally stopped in my tracks. From that day on, I thought about nothing else.’

Also posing with the couple for wedding photos in the grounds of Nether Winchendon House in Buckinghamshire were Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood, dancer Erin Boag and Jo Wood, Cole’s most recent dancing partner in the BBC1 show.
Brendan’s reputation as a ladies’ man began from the first series of Strictly in 2004, when his onscreen chemistry with Natasha Kaplinksy lead to speculation that they were in a relationship – not helped when, at the same time, Brendan split from his then fiance, fellow Strictly dancer Camilla Dallerup.
Last year, Camilla told the Mail: ‘My life fell apart. I honestly wouldn’t wish that
time on my worst enemy. I had to do a job that is so happy and such
escapism for the people who watch it, but inside I was in such turmoil.
‘I remember one show where Brendan kissed Natasha good luck behind
the curtain as the opening credits played. It stuck with me. I felt
humiliated – who wouldn’t? After that it was nauseating every time I
heard the theme music.’
Newsreader Natasha however has always maintained that nothing happened between them.
Nevertheless, Brendan then went on to famously tried his luck with his Strictly dance partner Kelly Brook in 2007′s series, even though she was engaged to Hollywood movie star Billy Zane at the time and he was dating soap actress Adele Silva.
Kelly was later forced to quit the series after the death of her father.
Then in 2008, Cole appeared to be getting increasingly close to his next partner, the single Lisa Snowdon – but by this time, he’d met Zoe so was actually on his best behaviour as she watched them like a hawk.
Wood defended her pal however from accusations of being a lothario and said: “I’ve never seen Brendan as a bad boy, I’ve just seen him as lovely Brendan. We’ve become really good friends.”
Newlywed Hobbs said: “We had the most perfect wedding day either of us could have wished for.”
