Soulja Boy Facing Felony Charges for Marijuana and Gun Possession

Here we go again. Another rap artist thrown in jail for something stupid…when will they learn? Soulja Boy “yuuule’s” his butt to jail after getting cuffed Tuesday October 18 at 3:15am by Temple Police in Temple, GA.

According to reports, cops say they had initially stopped his rental Cadillac Escalade for a simple traffic violation. Chief Police Officer, Tim Shaw tells Associated Press that after being stopped, officers found marijuana and guns inside, along with a “considerable amount” of cash. Soulja Boy, or in this case, DeAndre Cortez Way, along with five passengers were very cordial during the arrest. (Well duh, pretty sure they didn’t want to go down for resisting arrest)

The ‘Crank Dat’ rapper now faces felony charges and is being held without bond in the Carroll County jail. He is scheduled for a court appearance this afternoon.

(Sigh) Another day, another rapped booked. First of all, what was the point of riding that dirty and committing a traffic violation?? Seriously? Perhaps this was Soulja’s meager attempt at grabbing a few more bits of fame? Who knows… just don’t drop the soap Soulja.
