Taboo from Hasbro - Review & Reader Giveaway

Several years ago I was on an hour-long drive and thought I had a serious problem with my car. As I was driving I kept hearing this high pitched buzzing sound coming from the back of my car. It happened off and on and there was no rhyme or reason as to when it started and stopped. I stopped the car a couple of times and looked around the back wheels and couldn't find the problem. When I finally got to my destination I opened the trunk of the car to get my things and found the source of the buzz....my Taboo game! As the box jostled around the trunk at times the buzzer was pressed against the top of the box and was buzzing. That was a big relief!

Well, Taboo is still around and Hasbro has actually just released a new version, complete with refreshed content, A sleek look, game changing die and a funny “Uh-Oh!” buzzer sound. I don't think hearing "Uh-Oh!" from my trunk would freak me out as much (unless I thought someone was trapped in there!)

If you have never played Taboo before, it's lots of fun. You get a card with a word on it and you have to get your team to guess the word without using any of the "taboo" words listed on the card. If you accidentally use one of those words, the opposing team will sound the buzzer and you lose the word. A new twist in the updated version is the game changing die that adds new requirements like not speaking or using your hands during your turn. Taboo adds loads of fun and laughing to family game night or a party with friends.
