The 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup is being hosted by the West Indies. The tournament started on March 13 and will end on April 28, 2007. There will be a total of fifty one matches played in the tournament. It is being contested by 16 nations divided into 4 groups of 4 teams. The top two teams from each group will then compete in a "Super 8" format from which the semi-finalists will be decided.

The second edition of Twenty20 Cricket World Cup will be held at different venues of United Kingdom from June 5 to 21, 2009, according to information received here on Thursday.
