The 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup is being hosted by the West Indies. The tournament started on March 13 and will end on April 28, 2007. There will be a total of fifty one matches played in the tournament. It is being contested by 16 nations divided into 4 groups of 4 teams. The top two teams from each group will then compete in a "Super 8" format from which the semi-finalists will be decided.

2009 World Twenty20 Fixtures, tables and results

The second running of the ICC World Twenty20 takes place throughout June 2009 in England.

Following on from the excitement of India's tense victory over Pakistan in the 2007 event in South Africa, 12 teams will compete at the famous cricket grounds of Lord's, The Oval and Nottingham's Trent Bridge to be crowned the World Twenty20 2009 champion.

2009 World Twenty20 Super Eights

The Super Eights are the top two sides from each group. The top ICC ranked teams in each group are seeded 1 and 2 and retain this seeding for the Super 8s regardless of whether they finish first or second. If they are knocked out,  team 3 replaces the position of the team knocked out.
