The Karen Swift missing person case, in what I felt was an abduction and/or a kidnapping from the start, has now been classified a Criminal Investigation by Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box. Sheriff Box gave an update to the Dyersburg State Gazette newspaper on Friday November 25th concerning the Karen Swift case and after going around and around, he appears to have no new leads or a possible suspect or even a possible theory about what really happened to Karen Swift.
“If in event any evidence we hold could assist in locating Swift, we would immediately release this item to the media or the public, just as we did when we asked for information about anyone seeing her or her car and then releasing photos of her car parked in the location it was found,” said Box. We will not make any assumptions, or statements about this case, name persons of interest and suspects unless it is backed up by evidence and only then if it will be beneficial to this investigation.”
The sheriff’s dept. has used the following resources to conduct the many searches of these areas:
* Tennessee Department of Corrections Fort Pillow Bloodhound Unit
* Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Bloodhound Unit
* Shelby County Tennessee Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Unit with Dogs including Cadaver Dogs
* Dyer, Lake, Obion, Lauderdale, Gibson, and Henry County Rescue Squads with boats, sonar and drag equipment.
* Dyer County, Millsfield, Bogota, Lenox, Bonicord and Finley fire depts.
* Dyer County Emergency Management
* Personnel on horseback and many other local volunteers.

Source: FBI’s Highway Serial Killings initiative, Highway violence, In the past four decades, 459 deaths and 41 attempted homicides are believed to be linked to serial killers who are using the nation’s highways to find and dispose of their victims.
Often the victims are abducted in one state and dumped in another. And the killers? Authorities say they have 200 suspects; almost all are long-haul truck drivers. To date, the FBI says it has helped local authorities arrest at least 10 suspects believed to be involved in more than 30 of the killings.

In all of the five cases of the missing blonde haired petite women no homes or apartments have been broken into, none of the women’s boyfriends or husbands or fathers or brothers are a suspect in their disappearance. All of the five missing blonde haired petite women were abducted outside of their homes or apartments, from open areas on streets or roads or carports at unusually early times in the morning and from April there has been an abduction every other month up to October, this is a pattern.
There is only one eyeball witness to any of the abductions and that is the brother of Holly Bobo in Darden TN, the brother claims a large man, a white male who appears to be 6′ 0″ tall and over 200 lbs kidnapped Holly. Holly Bobo’s cell phone was found on the side of the road about 6 miles from her home.
