Does anyone in Riverside County Human Resources know their job?
Image via WikipediaWhen I advised the clerk that I worked for The Riverside County Sheriff Department for 20 years, I also advised her that even with my doctor's certifiaction, I cannot receieve my APPROVED disability through the state of California.
This is because, State Disability will not cover you if you make the fatal mistake of joining The Riverside County Sheriff Department. So I asked her, since the state said I had private coverage, can you tell me who it is through. She said, ahhhh, duhhhhh, I ah ah, think it's through your union.
My union verified that I actually had private coverage through, (now bear with me, because Riverside County likes to speak in riddles):
AKA
STOCK LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY
AKA
FLEET NATIONAL BANK, TRUSTEE

SEDWICK CMS
Actually, I probably should blame the SUPER EVIL insurance companies for all of the aliases instead of the poor women who has to work for John Tavaglione and his croonies.
Anyway, that's the County of Riverside's Disability Insurance carrier in case you are interested. One caveat however; They have numerous address and telephone numbers, so god only knows who you contact. Getting information from The County of Riverside is like trying to figure out a cell phone bill.
PS Stan Sniff, John Tavaglione, Bob Buster, Paul Zellerbach, Ken Calvert...........thanks again for absolutely nothing. I appreciate your compassion for the ill. Oh, and can one of you advise your Human Resources what benefits your employees ACTUALLY HAVE!
Thanks from the guy who received a personally signed thank you letter from every sheriff since 1991, except the Sniffster, for my annual above average performance. Guess I was pretty good, until Sheriff Sniff came to town.
