Chivu Talking To A Lot Of Clubs About Possible Bosman Move
Cristian Chivu’s Inter contract expires at the end of the season which means that he could leave the club on a free transfer this summer. From all indications Inter are not actively engaged in any contract talks with Chivu and his agent is busy looking for a club for next season. Will he end up in England or Spain?
Chivu has been linked with a move to Liverpool or Manchester City but his agent says that neither Liverpool or City have not been in contact so far.
“Manchester City or Liverpool’s interest? We have not heard from any team: with Inter we’ll wait until December, then if we do not receive any proposals from them, we’ll listen to others,” Victor Becali told Calciomercato.it “I’m sure we’ll find a team for Cristian.”
As for Spain, Chivu’s agent sees a natural fit there since Chivi obviously played under Jose Mourinho at Inter:
“Real? Mourinho knows him well. I’ve spoken with him, we’ll see,” he added. ”The most important thing is that Christian plays as a pure defender.”
