The official jury for the Cannes Film Festival has this evening revealed the prize winners for its 65th annual event which ran from May 16th – May 27th. The festival’s most prestigious price, the Palme d’Or, was awarded to Michael Haneke’s ‘Amour.’ Haneke previously won the Palme d’Or in 2009 for ‘The White Ribbon,’ while he also took home a Grand Jury Prize at the festival in 2001 for ‘The Piano Teacher’ and in 2005 won Best Director for ‘Caché.’ Commenting on his prize, the director said...Read Full Story
