Real Madrid might be unwilling to pay £80m but they have apparently earmarked a date for Ronaldo’s unveiling - July 7. That is the date revealed by Marca as Real’s own deadline for the deal’s completion, despite having failed to open the bidding for the Portuguese forward. Ronaldo has now gone on holiday for a few days while ManYoo boss Sir Alex Ferguson is also unavailable and has apparently left instructions for any bids to be rebuffed in his absence.
