Ulcerative colitis disabled to work
benifit?
are you in the US?
you might be eligible for SSI
it has to be expected that you will be unable to work for at least a year even with treatmentYou could try it. More than likely you will get SSI if nothing else. I had diverticulitis at age 16. I had to get some of my colon removed and they told me that i would be on a bag the rest of my life. But, when they were “in there” the surgery went better and they didn’t have to remove as much as they thought they did. So sometimes, surgery is a good idea. i than developed ulcerative colitis. I know it’s a killer! But, they will not award you disability benefits unless you have taken all measurements of treatment. . So, they may want you to get the surgery to see if that helps you and is able to make you capable of working. If you have not been employed for 3 years that will be a downfall for your working credits. If you have only paid in for 3 years you might not have enough credits, being only 25. If not than you face only SSI, not SSDI. If you have too much money saved up you will not get SSI. But ssdi does not go on wages like ssi does. You will need to have your Dr aware you are planning on going on disability. Ask them if they feel you are unable to work. You will need their take on your illness to win. They must back you up and have all your information for at least a year to qualify. You could apply for SSI and see if you can be approved. If your condition is severe and long lasting which prevents you from working a substantial gainful activity you really should apply. If you worked three years ago you may have obtained worked credits, but they expire, so it might be too lat to qualify for SSDI, you can check to see if you have enough work credits by calling them.Probably not. I think you are overstating the seriousness of your condition. There is no shortage of effective medications for Ulcerative colitis, if your current medication isn’t working, then you should try another, and keep trying until you find a medication or a combination of medications that work. Sometimes it takes years. and even in the worse case scenario, they surgically remove your colon, it’s not a “deadly” procedure, relatively speaking.I work from home working for a telemarketing company that employs disabled individuals and people looking for a fresh start. We sell household products over the phone. If you are interested in a position call 602-279-6800.

Various Forms Of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Including Crohn’s Colitis, Have Been Caused By Accutane
Article by Roger Design
While it had been on the market since the early 1980s, acne medication Accutane hasn’t been available since 2009 because of studies which linked it to inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohns colitis. The estimated 16 million current and former Accutane patients were left to wonder why the makers of the drug, Roche Pharmaceuticals, didn’t provide Accutane warnings about these risks and what needs to be done to hold them accountable for this mass negligence. The patients that have already been diagnosed with Crohn’s colitis learned that it was most likely Accutane which caused their chronic condition. There is no cure for Crohn’s colitis or other forms of inflammatory bowel disease which can be caused by Accutane and that is something that can be hard to fully grasp for these former patients, many of whom used the medication for their acne several years earlier. These victims weren’t given all of the information they needed to make a proper decision regarding their health, specifically how their health could be affected by these devastating Accutane side effects. These people with Crohn’s colitis must cope with their situation and learn how to live with their condition and the need for indefinite medical care. There are various types of treatment that will be attempted in order to lessen the severity of the IBD symptoms they’re experiencing. The first step is generally a change of diet so that the intestine has less work to do. But over time, as those symptoms progress and become more painful, it’s common for these patients to undergo surgery to remove damaged parts of their intestine. This is an extremely expensive medical procedure they may have to endure multiple times in order to give them the highest quality of life possible. If you’re struggling to pay for these procedures or any aspect of your treatment, you should seek the legal advice of an Accutane attorney in order to determine if you have a case that warrants litigation against Roche Pharmaceuticals. Contacting the Law Offices of Chandler, Mathis & Zivley, PC will give you the opportunity to speak with an attorney that has pursued and won an Accutane lawsuit in the past. They will provide a free consultation that will lay out your options and help you determine the strength of your case. If you then decide that you’d like to move forward with litigation, your Accutane attorney will be able to advise you on the next step of the process and get it started immediately.
