Great product, i'm thinking of ways so i can use it, so far i've done butternut squash soup and made a quiche. Very powerful motor, and easy to clean. I purchased one years ago, but my husband used it to mix paint with, so it goes without saying that it no longer worked. When making the scrambled eggs for the quiche, i held the blender all the way to the bottom of the container and it actually picked it up without holding, the motor is that strong.

This stick blender is pretty powerful and I love the brushed chrome finish on it as well. It is easy to use and clean and easy to store... It's a 'good to have'!

I have the 400 watt Braun stick blender which has been discontinued and was looking for a similar one as a gift for my mother. She loves the Cuisinart and feels it works just as well as my 400 watt machine. I shopped around to many local and on-line stores and Amazon still had the best price. I read other reviews to say to use smaller ice cubes when making shakes. It also helps to use smaller pieces of frozen fruit to make smoothies.

I just got this and made a week's worth of baby food in 15-20 minutes. I nuke a bag of frozen produce until soft (5 min for most) then with a little hot water, blend away! Premade baby foods are not only expensive, but they don't taste like the fruits and vegetables you'll want your baby to eat when they get just a few months older. Why teach them to like the jarred kind? If you replace a month's worth of baby food by using this device, it's paid for itself!

I'm already thinking of what else I can do with it. Shakes, soups, dressings, mashed potatoes... I think I'm ready to pitch a bunch of my other appliances! Sorry blender, shake maker and mixer!


I'm going to start giving this nifty thing as a gift!
