Bhangra (Punjabi: ਭੰਗੜਾ, بھنگڑا Hindi: भांगड़ा) is a form of dance and music which originated in the Punjab region of first Pakistan and India. It was one of the traditional dances of the Punjab region divided between India and Pakistan and sharing some of its origins, with dances in the north-west India, Afghanistan and even the Iran. She became, after the synthesis of the partition of India where the Hindu and Sikh refugees in India, shared their traditional dances from their former homes in Pakistan.
