Question by : How much caution do I need to take when riding (standing up) using my trainer with my carbon fiber road bike?

If you are concerned, sit on the saddle while on your trainer. I have never had any issues with my carbon framed bike climbing actual hills, but then again my rear skewer isn’t being held in place either.
The manufacturer of my bike, Orbea, has no specific instructions about using it on a trainer, nor have I seen anything at any manufacturers sites cautioning about using a cf bike on a trainer.
I have an older bike on my trainer to take the tire abuse and rear drop scars of a trainer. If you have another bike mount it and forget your worries of your Kinetic. Otherwise, contact Kurt Road Machine in the meantime and ask them if their design is able to hold up to trainer abuse.
