A-Rod Secures 'Elegant' Divorce Attorney
When the wife gets tough (and boy has Cynthia Rodriguez gotten tough) the overpaid, philanderous baseball star husband finds one bang-up lawyer.
Alex Rodriguez has reportedly retained the services of Miami divorce attorney Ira Elegant, who is currently also working on Shaquille O'Neal 's divorce from wife Shaunie O'Neal . If you don't think this guy is pricey, consicer this: to be reached for comment on the divorce, Elegant had to do a phone interview from his yacht in Turkey.
Elegant doesn't sound worried about the case. He told the Miami Herald "I will be back next week. We'll take a look at it and we'll go from there. There's no emergency at this juncture."
Maybe Elegant plans to argue on behalf of A-Rod's pain and suffering. Exhibit A: a now infamous T-shirt with a certain expletive printed in big bold letters.
