I know that a lot has been written on a surprisingly good performance by Jennifer Garner on Broadway, but I have to add my compliments. I had a pleasure seeing Cyrano de Bergerac last night and except enjoying the classic play again, I was fascinated by actors performances. So in French class today we watched this movie called Cyrano De Bergerac . It's about this apparently famous French dramatist/swordsman who was kinda like a Robin Hood, just with more poetry and less people-saving. Cyrano de Bergerac is a movie all about heroic acts and acting poetically in every possible way. Cyrano himself is all about that. He sword fights makes bold statements and helps another man woo the woman he loves. Now all this does have its appeal but only in certain parts. The parts that allow the comedy from such things to come out more than the scenes that try to be more serious.
