41 Arrested in Highlands County, Florida on Friday
According to Highlands Today, 41 men, women and children were arrested Friday in a multi agency sting.
It was a two months investigation according to Public Information Officer Neil Hays. The sting may not have been a total success as they only confiscated two vehicle, three firearms, less than a pound of marijuana a few pills, less than 5 grams of cocaine And about $400. At what cost to the government? From overtime to court costs to incarceration fees?
Is this real? Or is this harassment? Certainly this is not real crime fighting. I have nothing else to say. I guess they expect everyone to plea bargain, to conceal their undercover and Confidential Informants. Otherwise they have nothing. Certainly lawyers will be in demand in the coming weeks, but can these thugs afford attorneys? Of will our public defenders simply be overwhelmed in a kangaroo court system?
From the Highlands Today here are those who were arrested.
