The Ceremony and the Dress

You have decided on a budget and you have started an account.  You have to start looking at venues.  The first venue to look at is your ceremony site.  Your ceremony is the centerpiece of your day.  Is it going to be a religious or civil ceremony?  If it is civil you are bound by the laws of your county and state you are living in.  And the ceremony can take place wherever your heart desires.  If it is religious, you are bound by the covenants and laws of your particular faith.  There are different rules depending on if you are Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Jewish, Protestant, etc.  You will also be required to have pre-wedding counseling.  Make sure you pencil in your appointments as soon as possible!

Military weddings on the other hand are governed by the protocol according to the branch of service, so members of the military should check with their base chaplains or their service manual.

Now, about your dress.  If you still refuse the help of a Professional Wedding Manager (like myself) and you are having trouble deciding or even knowing what your silhouette is then contact the professionals at Confident Image they will help you find the most flattering fit and color for your gown.

If you need more ideas for venues, that is if my other posts didn't give you any that you liked, try contacting Church By The Side Of The Road, their phone number is (815)624-7891.  Or contact Lori O'Connor at Riverside Community Church she will be glad to help.
