NEW YORK (Reuters) - The death of celebrity disc jockey DJ AM was caused by an accidental drug overdose, and eight different substances were found in his body, the New York City Medical Examiner's office said on Tuesday. US rocker Travis Barker said he is ‘thankful’ to have known his late pal DJ AM this Thanksgiving.
The 34-year-old drummer was good friends with DJ AM, full name Adam Goldstein, who died in August this year after suffering an accidental drug overdose.
The pair escaped death in a plane crash in September 2008, in which two members of their crew and two other passengers lost their lives.
