Patrick Wilson Born in July 3, 1973, is an US theater and film actor who won critical acclaim for his performance in Mike Nichols’ 2003 drama HBO mini-series Angels in America. He received both a Golden Globe nomination and an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor. His theater work has produced many nominations and awards. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical for The Full Monty, a Drama League Award for Fascinating Rhythm, a Drama Drama League Award for Bright Lights, Big City an Encores nomination for Tenderloin.
He was awarded the Charles Willard Memorial Award for Undergraduate Excellence in Music Theatre while studying at Carnegie-Mellon.
“Six years ago, when I moved, I said the only things I wanted to do was originate the lead in a show, and if it was a musical, then do the recording, and get nominated for a Tony. So now that I’ve done all that, I don’t know what I’m going to do. Maybe I should dream higher.” says Patrick Wilson.
