Ito third in World Cup ski jump

Daiki Ito took third in a World Cup ski jumping event in Switzerland on Sunday, making him the first Japanese to finish on the podium in this Olympic season. The 23-year-old had a first jump of 134.5 meters to earn 132.6 points before the second round had to be canceled because of bad weather conditions on the K-125 hill in Engelberg.
