White Computer Desk
Say goodbye to that old wobbly table you used to use as a worksurface for your personal computer. Stop the accidental kicking of your computer tower case when you sit down or get up. Yes, it's time to update your workspace and room with a stylish and clean white computer desk . Just think about it...computer users spend hours each day sitting at a desk working on projects, playing PC games or surfing the internet. It may be worth it to invest in a comfortable, beautiful or functional work surface.
You may start with a student desk which normally has two or three drawers and a keyboard tray. It has no decoration on it. It can have a hutch with a shelf for books or trinkets. It is just a sturdy and functional piece of furniture that will fit most adolescent rooms.
An alternative for your child's personal computer would be what is called a workstation. It is a compact unit with small shelves for the monitor, keyboard, mouse, tower case and a printer. These units are typically constructed of metal parts with white painted chipboard. This is an affordable option that is in the same price range as the student units.
If your teenager has a laptop you may choose an even smaller white computer desk such as a laptop cart. This type of cart has four casters or wheels. It can easily be moved from room to room. The height and angle of certain laptop carts can be adjusted. The frame is made of metal and painted with a high gloss white finish.
A white computer desk in an L-shape is great for a home office or any other office for that matter. It has more surface area, storage space and leg room for your business equipment and papers. If you do not have enough space in the room, you can always choose a normal white corner computer desk.
Remember to do measure the space that is available in your office before buying a unit. The work surfaces or tops of white computer desks may are covered with metal, melamine, chipboard or wood. You may even have a unit that is painted white but has a top with a walnut, oak or cherry finish. This is a good choice if you do not like too much white.
White is a crisp and clean colour, but it has to blend in with the other colours in your home office. If your office contain predominantly darker colours, you should consider a black computer desk or one with a dark wood finish.
