Dale Jr. and his new 88 Amp Energy
The ride looks sweet. Check out Dale Jr's new #88. Mountain Dew is hoping you'll also check out their new Amp Energy Drink in the process. But the No. 88 Chevrolet is pretty amazing.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. says Danica Patrick would be good for NASCAR, but there's nothing new to report on the IndyCar star joining his team.
Earnhardt told The Associated Press on Friday that other teams were still in the mix for Patrick's services. He said the talks were still in their early stages.
His comments came after ESPN reported that a deal could be in place soon between Patrick and Earnhardt's Nationwide Series team, JR Motorsports...

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has finished better in the fall race at Texas Motor Speedway than he has in the spring race in three of the four seasons since the track added a second NASCAR Cup date, which should breed more optimism for the team that finished 20th at Texas earlier this season as they head into Sunday's Dickies 500.

For nearly 20 minutes on Friday afternoon Dale Earnhardt Jr. and crew chief Lance McGrew sat and addressed the media.
Everything from the “Ride with the 88” car this weekend, to living in a giant fishbowl (which Earnhardt Jr. says can be pretty fun), and to what they plan on doing next year was thrown out.
McGrew was named Earnhardt Jr.’s full-time crew chief early Friday at Talladega, in a move that Earnhardt Jr. calls great.

The time is now for Dale Earnhardt Jr. It was two seasons ago that NASCAR’s most popular driver signed to drive for Rick Hendrick, NASCAR’s most successful owner. It looked like a match made in auto racing heaven. Most thought it was just a matter of time, if not his first season, maybe this season, before Junior would start rolling into victory lane with regularity and win an inevitable championship.
