Dalene Kurtis was Playboy 's Playmate of the Year in 2002.  She made national press again in early September 2009 when she claimed that her boyfriend severely beat her and threatened her life. Dalene was on vacation in Hawaii at the time of the incident.  Dalene has filed a restraining order to cover herself and her young child.
