The Great Khali

Early Life Born on 27th August 1972 in a poor family of Dhirana village in Himachal Pradesh Dalip Singh Rana popularly known as ‘The great Khali’ was the third oldest among the family of seven brothers and sisters. He 7 feet 2 inch tall though all his family members are of normal height except his grand father who was very tall. At a young age he earned daily wage as a road side stone breaker to help provide for his family. By the year of circumstances began to change when he had tried his hand at many sports and finally had showed exceptional talent in bodybuilding.   Training The Director General of Punjab Police Mr. M S Bhullar saw Dilip and helped him join the Punjab Police. The change in employment his income increased and he began to spend more to further his bodybuilding training. After years of hard work and practice, he won the title of Mr. India in 1997 and 1998 out of hundreds of other participants.
