Damion James is a junior forward for the Texas Longhorns.

Strengths:
Jones is an all-around athletic player for the Longhorns. He's quick up the court and good at grabbing rebounds. He also has great clarity on the court and seems to read the defense well. He's a playmaker who's had the consistent ability to get open, or pass to an open teammate. He's also not afraid to shot, and his high release makes his shot almost unstoppable.

Weaknesses:
Jones needs to work on being more aggressive with the ball. He seems much to content with settling for outside shots or passing the ball off. With his size and at this point in his career he needs to hog the ball just a little bit. He also needs to work on his defensive game and he seems to have trouble at the free throw line.

Why to watch:
Look for Jones to come into his own during this year's tournament. Going into either the NBA or his senior year, he's going to need to take more command of his performance on the court, and this is the perfect opportunity to do that. Although he's a junior, Jones should really consider staying on for another year with the Longhorns. He's just not confident enough to make his way in the NBA.
