Daniel Hauser, the Minnesota teenager whose mother once took him and fled the state to avoid chemotherapy has completed that treatment. He is scheduled to finish his radiation treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma in early November. His tumor is gone and when radiation is over so is the presence of the court. At that point there will no longer be medical neglect and the court will no longer need to monitor the family. Teen deemed cancer free NEW ULM - The CHIPS (Child in Need of Protection or Services) petition originally filed last April for Daniel Hauser of Sleepy Eye has been dismissed in Brown County District Court.
