Rep: Daniel Radcliffe Is No 'Harry Pothead'

Daniel Radcliffe's face has been plastered all over British papers today with claims that he smoked pot at a party in London, and let someone draw a mustache on his face. And they even call him "Harry Pothead." But, the actor's rep said the claims are false, and they will be "taking all necessary action in relation to such allegations."

The rep also said (via People magazine): "Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette, but he was not doing anything more than this."

The initial story has quotes from someone at the party, Wadia Tazi, 26, who said: “He was really friendly and talking about his dad a bit. Then he pulled out a huge joint and lit up. Daniel said he loved it. Daniel was laughing and seemed to find it funny. But he didn’t really look like he knew what was going on. I was surprised by his behaviour. He looked spaced out and away with the fairies.”

Then it was reported the 20-year-old actor started telling everyone: “I love weed!”

The actor was then said to have allegedly made a swift exit from the party with his on/off girlfriend Laura O’Toole. Wadia explained: “Laura was very protective. She said Daniel had a reputation to protect and couldn’t ruin it. I presume she meant by being seen smoking. I said I didn’t know what she was talking about. But almost immediately afterward, she and Daniel left.”
