When Daniel Sedin failed to practise Monday, general manager Mike Gillis stressed that the Vancouver Canucks left winger hasn’t re-injured his left foot. He also defended the process that led to the Swede pushing his rehab on Nov. 8 in Dallas to the extent that he won’t skate with the team again until Wednesday and possibly play Friday.... “It’s not a re-injury, it’s soreness,” added Gillis, who said a re-evaluation of Sedin back in Vancouver confirmed there was no further foot damage. “You have to see him skate with the team.
