Designed by architect Daniele Claudio Taddei, this contemporary home is blessed with the breathtaking view of the lake. Situated in Brissago, Switzerland, this wooden family home is set in a vineyard. The house offers a comfortable and amazing view of the Italian countryside to the south. Finished in a rustic wood-clad, the Casa Larga seems to float above the landscape. Built above a sloping lot, the house is constructed in raised structure that makes it looks higher and larger. Covered with expansive glass windows, the interior is flooded by natural light each day. This wooden residence is designed in four-storey with an open-concept interior, offering the lake views from every angle. Inspired by natural and vast, open space the house is presented as a cozy traditional barn home. This contemporary home lacks of street access, providing a peace and quiet atmosphere to the owners.
