Does anyone know why the father of her kids hasn’t filed for custody? I’m not trying to be mean, it’s just when I watch scenes with those poor kids, they look so awkward and she explodes on them, it’s just like watching child abuse. They seem to be walking on egg shells. I’m just wondering why he doesn’t remove his children from this situation. Does anyone know his background?

His name is Thomas Staub. He’s married to Rebecca, who is pregnant (or at least was in July). His company filed bankruptcy. I don’t think he can afford the girls and maybe the new wife doesn’t want them. Danielle isn’t abusive to them, she has provided a home and all that. Danielle isn’t the best mom around, but things have to get really bad for fathers to get custody.
Tom met Danielle when she was a stripper. You know the rest of that story. He was rich at the time, but not now. They were together for 12 years and she caught him cheating.
It looks like the girls don’t like being on TV and are embarrassed, but maybe Danielle gets paid more when they are. Danielle is in it for the money. Don’t forget they play to the camera so what you see isn’t always the way it really is. Much of it is for shock value.
