Tests on Tuesday revealed the chip fracture in his left foot didn’t actually occur Monday night when he rolled his ankle in a game against Houston.
Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari suffered a broken left foot in the third quarter of Monday night’s loss to Houston
X-rays revealed that Gallinari has a chip fracture of the foot.
Gallinari stepped on Rockets’ forward Chandler Parsons’ foot while driving to the hoop, twisting his ankle in the process.
Parsons got called for a foul on the play and Gallinari showed some toughness by remaining on the court.
He made two free throws before he came out of the game.
The Nuggets have yet to issue a prognosis for Gallinari, as the team wants him to go through more tests on Tuesday.
