Danity Kane was an American R&B girl group signed to Bad Boy Records. Their story of becoming a group was chronicled in rapper Sean “P-Diddy” Combs' MTV reality series "Making the Band" season three. The group was made of members Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, Aubrey O’Day, Dawn Richard and Wanita “D. Woods” Woodgette before they broke up in early 2009. Aubrey O'Day is set to find love on reality TV, she’s in talks to appear on MTV show A SHOT AT LOVE. O’Day, who was fired from rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ girl band last year (08), is hoping to use the dating programme to launch herself as a solo star and attract interest from record label executives, according to reports. A source tells PerezHilton.com, “She’s in final negotiations. Aubrey will be singing the theme song and hopes this opportunity will help her launch a solo recording career. Aubrey O’Day for Shot at Love? Aubrey O’Day as Shot at Love’s new MTV host is being chattered today, the show originated by Tila Tequila.
Now today a new reportedly says Ikki Twins are out for next season and in O’Day, right away. The casting of O’Day is reportedly geared to help jump start the former Danity Kane stars solo music career.
