Danny Elfman Dubstep: Pee-Wee, Beetlejuice and The Crypt Keeper Get Grimy

It was probably only a matter of time before somebody made a dubstep song out of Danny Elfman scores, but we’re so glad that it was director Bo Gus who decided to collaborate with dubsteppers Trick James for this particularly brilliant mutant-hybrid of what are arguably Burton and Elfman’s greatest hits: Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, and Tales From the Crypt.

Pee Wee gets our vote, if only because his dance moves are timed so succinctly to those Skrillex-like beats. This whole thing is brilliant, but you want to go to 2:03 for the real magic. Even if you’re not a dubstep fan it might just make you long for the days of old-school Burton again.
