Poll: Does Jonah Hill Come Off As a Complete Jerk in His 'Rolling Stone' Interview?

(PacificCoastNews)Jonah Hill was in no mood to discuss farts when he met with Rolling Stone contributing writer Erik Hedegaard to promote his latest film, This Is the End. Though his co-stars Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, and James Franco had barrelled through questions about flatulence, weed, and heroism without incident, Hill was clearly not amused by the course of conversation — and not at all worried about sounding like a massive jerk by saying so.

"I'm not answering that dumb question! I'm not that kind of person!" Hill reportedly snapped. "Being in a funny movie doesn't make me have to answer dumb questions. It has nothing to do with who I am."

So he didn't want to talk farts — fine. But that wasn't the only moment in which Hill revealed aggression.

On whether he's ever been in a fistfight:"I fought a lot when I was younger. Some were good, some were bad. I don't fight anymore, though. I'm an adult man," he says, kind of laughing and sneering at the same time. "I use my words."

On becoming a "serious actor": "I've done one of the biggest challenges you can do in Hollywood, which is transition from being a comedic actor to being a serious actor, and I'm really prideful of that," he says. "I could have made a billion dollars doing every big comedy of the last 10 years and didn't, in order to form a whole other life for myself. Now I have fulfillment doing both."

On Judd Apatow once calling him "angry" and "nerdy": "Yeah, there was probably an angry time for me. But I couldn't be a less angry person. Judd maybe thinks of himself that way. But I haven't worked for him in five years. I adore him. But I'm f**king 29 years old and not some angry kid."
