Senator John Ensign Adds His Name to the Disgraced

There is little to say about the extramarital affair of Senator John Ensign, Republican of Nevada.  With Las Vegas as his home base, it appears that Ensign gambled and lost.  Today he is heading home to confirm an extramarital affair.

Perhaps we should say more, but let’s just say — John Edwards, Bill Clinton, David Vitter, Larry Craig, Elliott Spitzer and the list could go on, ad nauseam.  For all its worth, everything has been said about politicians who stray.  Just add the name of John Ensign to the list.
