Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice Joins Soulcalibur IV

It may not be as exciting as the appearance of Yoda or Darth Vader, but another Star Wars character has been confirmed for inclusion in Soulcalibur IV.

Although he's not one of the marquee Star Wars characters, Namco Bandai has announced that Darth Vader's secret apprentice -- that would be the one and only practitioner of the black Sith arts we will be playing in LucasArts' upcoming force-bending actioner Star Wars: The Force Unleashed -- will be joining the fight.

We've long known that Darth Vader will be an exclusive addition to the PS3 version of the game and Yoda exclusive to the Xbox 360 version, but the secret apprentice will be appearing in both versions. Still kind of a rip-off if you can't have a Vader vs. Yoda battle.

Soulcalibur IV is set to hit stores July 29th. Some more secret apprentice screens below.
