Giorgio Armani is pleased to announce that his friend David Beckham, who plays for LA Galaxy and the England national team, will be the official worldwide testimonial for Emporio Armani Underwear from January, 2008, coinciding with launch of the Emporio Armani Underwear collection in the United States.
Emporio Armani Sponsors the Swimming World Cup 2009 in Rome
The FINA Swimming World Cup 2009 will set in Rome and will start on 17th July and will last till 2nd August. The two weeks competitions is sponsored by Emporio Armani.
With Armani's partnership with Swimming World Cup, this further marks its presence in the sports’ world. Aside from football, Armani has already done sponsorship in major sports events like the Milan Basketball team and Italian swimmer Filippo Magnini.
David Beckham is the image model of Emporio Armani underwear and currently portraying the underwear advertising campaign.
Among the official sponsors of theSwimming World Cup 2009, besides Emporio Armani, there will also be Rome Airports, icecreams’ brand Algida, Aurora Insurance, Corriere dello Sport, Tuttosport and Rds.
