The family of Kill Bill star David Carradine is “profoundly disturbed” after a photo purporting to be of the hanged actor in his Bangkok hotel room was publishe.
The grainy photo shows a nude man, with his face blacked out, suspended from a clothes rail with his hands apparently bound together above his head. It was published on the cover of tabloid newspaper Thai Rath and is believed to have been taken by a forensics police officer.

After a maid found David Carradine’s body in a closet in his Bangkok hotel room, police called it a suspected suicide. But the actor’s manager refuses to believe it.

Actor David Carradine was found dead in a Thailand hotel on Thursday morning, according to his manager, Chuck Binder.
Binder has indicated that the death is currently “being investigated” but could provide no other details.
He went on to add that Carradine’s death was “shocking and sad. He was full of life, always wanting to work … a great person.”
