Our favorite scene in CSI Miami's Season 7 is in "Seeing Red", showing Horatio Caine (David Caruso) with the dying deputy. It was one of the finest pieces of television drama we've seen in a long while. We'd match it any day or time with Grissom's (William Petersen) reaction to Warrick's death on CSI LV. The two scenes provide an interesting contrast. The view of many, that each trauma must be over dramatized, is absurd to the max. Television is an intimate, one-on-one experience. The projection required of an onstage performer, emoting with resonance in hopes of touching every member of a huge live ... Read Full Story

"Let's face it, David Caruso (above) is the King of Coolsville." "And David Caruso's sunglassed scowl is an international language in and of itself." Just a couple of blog comments we picked up today. The link below is to a site by a lady named Sarah who reproduces pencil drawings from photos. Pets are her specialty. However, she seems to be expanding her talent to include people. And, guess who was her first subject. We didn't get her permission to post her drawing of David, but it's at the bottom of the front page when you follow the link. http://petsinpencil.blogspot.com/2009/06/pets-people-and-cars.html The rendering above is ... A blogger's view of David Caruso: "For dinner the four of us go to Carney’s in Studio City. It is a Sante Fe railroad car converted into a hot dog stand. Only 5 tables and one other family there – an Hispanic women, a child, her elderly mother and a man. It was hard not noticing the man’s flaming orange hair; we recognized him as David Caruso from the CSI TV series. I was struck by how gentle and helpful he was to his child – not at all like his tough-man image. We gave them their space (i.e. pretending we didn’t recognize him) ... Read Full Story

RIP, HP. When the dreaded time comes, we're usually in a perpetual state of shock. Why? We knew, for a very long time. That knowledge became increasingly more apparent in recent weeks. Now, it has happened. Are we grieving? Absolutely not. We are pissed. At ourselves for not making the final decision earlier; at anyone near and dear who didn't harass us into action before the inevitable became a reality. Our pc is on its last, wobbly legs. Somewhere in the dark recesses we were aware this cpu wasn't going to be efficient once we began blogging. Too many applications, too many websites, too ... Read Full Story

We can't do much in our present state, but we'll always find a way to display one such as this. Mighty fine, wouldn't you say? This casual David Caruso look was snapped in LA in May, before David went AWOL. http://moviefone.com/celebrity/david-caruso/1782570/main

Beverly Hills Times Magazine has an excellent interview with Sofia Milos. Sofia speaks of many things, including her stint on CSI Miami, her chemistry with David Caruso, and various other projects, both personal and professional. A good read. For the record, Sofia as Yelina Salas is the only viable candidate we've seen on CSI Miami as a potential romantic interest for David's Horatio Caine. Both

Are we getting a bit top heavy with cast members on CSI Miami? Is someone leaving? There has been significant speculation during this most unusually silent hiatus.Adding Eddie Cibrian to the cast seems a tad out of line with the current budget cuts in force.
