David Caruso: CSI Miami vs Boston Legal
This season, Boston Legal; next season, CSI Miami?
We're just ecstatic!! The newsmongers tell us the final season of Boston Legal will be aired on ABC at 10:00 on Mondays, which just happens to coincide with CSI Miami's time slot on CBS. Since these are two of our favorite shows, as in "NEVER MISS", this comes as most unsettling.
Boston Legal will only have 13 episodes this season; 11 regulars plus a 2 hour series finale, probably in December. We will miss Boston Legal. It is a great show.
However, perhaps this is the wake-up call Ann Donahue, David Caruso, Jerry, et al, need to re-energize CSI Miami. It seems to have become a shadow of it's former self. The network and TPTB within the franchise seem to have forgotten Miami alltogether. While CSI is contemplating hiring a Billy Petersen replacement, considering the likes of Laurence Fishburne or David Strathairn, CSI Miami hires a pubescent Alexx Woods wannabe as their new Medical Examiner.
