However, while the video clip below is night shift criminal scene, we're guessing there was no way to impersonate any of "CSI" cast members to draw recognition from their audience.

Therefore, we get the dark of night, but with Horatio Caine, the iconic characterization from David Caruso that is instantly accepted worldwide. Also of note is the familiar rhythm patterns of the background music.
