The first leg of the CSI Trilogy, "Bone Voyage", aired last night on "CSI Miami". The second installment will be shown tomorrow night on "CSI NY", to be followed by the conclusion on "CSI LV" Thursday. "Bone Voyage" served quite well as both a stand-alone and as part of a trilogy, and expect the same from the "CSI NY" segment due, we suspect, as a forethought to residual revenue (the three have residual contracts with three different networks). "CSI Miami" upped their ratings with the first installment of The CSI Trilogy on Monday, which continues tonight on "CSI NY". Several sites showed they pulled in 14 million viewers for sweeps week, though that probably includes the dvr viewers. Still, over a million more than last week, admittedly a low point for them. 7 foot Lakers hotshot Pao Gasol is spreading his wings with a venture into acting, a guest spot on "CSI Miami" on Monday, November 16th. Take a peak at the promo video and a couple of articles about "Point of Impact". Pao dwarfs Eddie Cibrian in this photo and everyone in life. We couldn't locate any Pao photos with David Caruso. There is a suspicion, though not verified, that "Supernatural" originally intended to spoof their Thursday night competition. That would be "Grey's Anatomy" and "CSI LV". However, while the video clip below is night shift criminal scene, we're guessing there was no way to impersonate any of "CSI" cast members to draw recognition from their audience. While we remain perpetually dismayed at the gullibility of American voters, the proof as seen in today's elections in many parts of the country, we move on to more lighthearted subjects. What, you say? Don't they always do 24 episodes per season. Quite true, in the past, save the '07-'08 writer's strike season, but the winds have shifted in our struggling economy. In an apparent belt-tightening move, CBS ordered only 22 episodes of their standing, scripted shows this season, less for new offerings.
