Are there things you always wanted to know about Caruso but never dared to ask? Are there things you wished they would be addressed on David Caruso boards but never are? Then you are in the right place. There are NO LIMITS, Everything goes! Come in and find out!
"I’m okay with bringing in new folks to replace old ones or to inject new blood into stale relationships, but you have to let your lead be the lead. We watch CSI: Miami for David Caruso, right? He’s the primary reason for me, anyway." So says Scott Parker in his review of "CSI Miami" last night. We've been expecting our views to differ diametrically from those of Parker at some point in time. He, the male mystery writer; we, the reluctant female blogger. This week wasn't the one to separate... Read Full Story

Friends, help us out here. On another whirlwind browse through FaceBook, more than enough for one day, we noticed a link called "David's Causes" on David Caruso's wall. Of course, we took the bait, following it to a list of 22 causes, with donations noted. Referring back to our tirade on publicizing salaries in private industry, we need to add that we would never consider donating to any cause, regardless of worthiness, if our donation was broadcast, as apparently is the case with FaceBook... It takes but a ripple to start a tsunami. Yeah, that's a stretch. However, when we get four (4) emails within minutes from diverse locales, all on the same subject, all in a lather over a single comment, one has to sit up and take notice. This was but one, and the calmest, of the messages we received. "In reference to the official magazine-has David taken leave of his senses?" As we suggested in response to these queries, there is a body of activity in play here, not an isolated incident. A... Read Full Story
Ever watch the Geico Gecko? Always in trouble for a situation beyond his control, perpetually with that 'WTF' look. We commiserate, aware more often than not we march to an entirely different tune than the typical fan (is there such a thing?). There is often an inner struggle with the natural (for us) instinct to retaliate with reason and logic when reading comments from some of the more rabid fans of "CSI Miami", though we're virtually certain those concepts are foreign to the most... After a few weeks of making earnest attempts to catch as many new or nearly new couch potato offerings as possible, our former opinion of tv as 'a vast wasteland' is intact. Not one of the new shows has managed to grab our attention. "The Good Wife", "NCIS Los Angeles", "Hank" and "Cougar Town" are prime examples of poor imitations, without benefit of any creative spark. The actors on each do fine work, hamstrung by the quick fix, rubber stamp mentality of the networks and producers. As much... Read Full Story
The link below is to Scott Parker's excellent review of "Bad Seed" on "CSI Miami" last night, far more thorough and objective than ours. The contrasting perceptions are worth the read. Good job again, Scott. We also wish to extend our appreciation to TPTB at "CSI Miami" for the subdued entry of the opening theme by "The Who" that we've witnessed this season. It's a welcome change. The tractability of the beginning chords, underscoring the one-liner(s), building audibly into the credits... Read Full Story
A small blurb from our NOT so favorite 'Blind Item' guru, Michael Ausiello, at EW: Question: CSI: Miami scoop, please! Ausiello: Delko was originally going to turn up dead in the season premiere. It’s true! When Adam Rodriguez failed to come to terms on a new contract over the summer, CBS allegedly recommended that producers simply write it in that Delko didn’t survive last May’s cliffhanger. “But I wasn’t comfortable with that,” says Rodriguez. “And I spoke to [exec producer] Ann Donahue... After adding dvr numbers to live viewers for premiere week of September 21-27, "CSI Miami" brought in over 16 million from a 14.22 mil live who watched "Out of Sight". As the linked article from Zap2It mentions, advertisers aren't particularly impressed with these figures, due to most folks skipping through commercials; let's hear it for the remote controls. Nonetheless, it's interesting how dvr's are changing the manner and scheduling of our viewing habits, as well as how ratings are gauged... Read Full Story
We Wonder......................... Do The Tweeting Tweeners (whether chronological or physiological) realize all the replies they make to their faves go nowhere unless the designated fave is a reciprocal follower? Or, more likely, they know and simply want everyone to see their oh-so-interesting tweets. Do commenters realize no one takes them seriously when every sentence looks like our 2 year old confiscated the keyboard; apparent words filled with symbols, combined caps and lowercase...
