David Caruso: Stirring the Pot
It takes but a ripple to start a tsunami. Yeah, that's a stretch. However, when we get four (4) emails within minutes from diverse locales, all on the same subject, all in a lather over a single comment, one has to sit up and take notice. This was but one, and the calmest, of the messages we received.
"In reference to the official magazine-has David taken leave of his senses?"
As we suggested in response to these queries, there is a body of activity in play here, not an isolated incident. A lengthy pattern of behavior from the fanbase underbelly, which attempts to establish a brokering of contact between David and his fans, continues virtually unabated.
The comments section of any MS page is formatted for the innocuous supportive messages of one to another. Common internet courtesy dictates dialogue more personal be confined to direct messages or IM's. Any which fall outside these socially acceptable parameters diminish the sender, giving rise to quizzical WTF's.

The most blatant example of such behavior of late, insidious in its simplicity, is the misplaced effort to diffuse our spoilsport 'bullying', by commenting on David's MS page, where it will be read by everyone, a response to an unseen or non-existent comment from David. The obvious intent is to create an imagery of consistent communication denied to others.
David's fans are having none of it. Efforts to intercept messages and emails with the "I'll pass them on to David", "David wants it this way" and "Everything is approved through David" have largely been met with distrust, suspicious questioning and, finally, disgust.
