David Caruso: The Who Subdued?
The link below is to Scott Parker's excellent review of "Bad Seed" on "CSI Miami" last night, far more thorough and objective than ours. The contrasting perceptions are worth the read. Good job again, Scott.
We also wish to extend our appreciation to TPTB at "CSI Miami" for the subdued entry of the opening theme by "The Who" that we've witnessed this season. It's a welcome change.
The tractability of the beginning chords, underscoring the one-liner(s), building audibly into the credits, leaves an anticipatory impression on the audience.
Jolting of the senses, so important to a stage performance for a rock band, takes on a not necessarily positive life of its own on a small screen being viewed in one's home.
We love you, Pete and Roger, but the volume controls are overworked on Monday nights.
