David Caruso
News and opinions about TV actor David Caruso. According to Wikipedia: David Caruso is an American film and television actor. He is best known at present for his role as Lieutenant Horatio Caine on the TV series CSI: Miami.
David Caruso vs. Tom Sizemore . Sizemore clearly the winner
Tom Sizemore RULED episode "Down the wire". David Caruso was reduced to his more or less medicore line-reading. Tom Sizemore did a great job. He is the far better actor of those two.
Wow....we think we are supposed to be impressed? LOL. So Caruso allegedly "fought" to get Sizemore? (Ex-alcoholic Caruso wants another addict on the show...HOW NOBLE) And because of THIS Sizemore couldn't have UPSTAGED Caruso - which he clearly did?
Laughable!
Caruso's only acting skill is to pose and deliver his lines in a hammy fashion. Diva Caruso stepped back to let the hughly talented Sizemore "shine"? They needed Sizemore to breath life in Caruso's otherwise bland and boring performance.Time for someone to get his head out of Caruso's skinny a**.
Last nights episode "Down the wire" showed clearly - once more - what A LOUSY ACTOR David Caruso is. Upstaged by Tom Sizemore whose character was the star of the show Caruso was reduced to his meek one-liners. Caruso tried - in vain - to get the upper hand actingwise. However, he failed miserably. Take note Caruso! Get some acting lessons from someone who KNOWS his trade! Douchebag!

Tom Sizemore plays a bad guy. A really bad guy. He plays it so convincingly that we can't help but LIKE the shady PI Rossi. Finally, a bad character who really deserves the name "bad".
Sizemores facial expressions are a pleasure to watch. David Caruso take note! That is the way acting should be. Tom Sizemore clearly upstages David Caruso.
The facing off between HoCaine Jr Wolff/Eric in the interrogation room - when Rossi presented the recording of Eric's psychiatric session - priceless.
Since Calleigh/Eric were taken off the case, Natalia Boa Vista got her moment to shine.
There was another short "lab-coat moment" with HoCaine/Caruso. Not as convincingly as in earlier seasons - but he gave it a try. Generally, Caruso's performance in the second last episode of this season was bland and uninspired.
Interesting to notice - Calleigh is alone when Stetler pulls her off the case. HoCaine - long gone are the times when you stood up for ALL your team members, right? Does anybody still believe in confliciting schedules Caruso/Procter? We don't think so.
The plot was okay - an innocent guy getting shot, an affair and the use of a voice distorter. Of course HoCaine had to win - even if some of us wish it would be different now and then.In the end when Calleigh and Eric walk into Rossis' office and they find tapes on everyone - we all know he Rossi is one truly evil guy.We do hope to see him again , one way or the other. Would be interesting.
In summary: Improvement to last weeks' episode. Unfortunately with a very predictable ending.
