David Duchovny and Tea Leoni Back Together?

Marriage has not been kind to actors David Duchovny and Tea Leoni, who split up last fall after 11 years of wedlock. Many figured Duchovny's sex addiction was to blame for the fall out (he had just finished a two-month stint in rehab), but some reports indicated that Leoni's romance with Billy Bob Thornton played a role.

In any case, Perez Hilton is reporting that the couple has reconciled, and they're trying to work through their problems:

The two recently went on vacation together with their two kids to the Mustique island in the West Indies.

A source tells Us Weekly that “David and Téa were holding hands on the beach. Everyone seemed very happy, and she looked fantastic!”

The Us Weekly web site has no reports of the alleged reunion. Still, at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony earlier this year, Duchovny told the audience that his wife had sent him a text message encouraging him on nomination for his performance on the show Californication, in which he, incidentally, plays a sex addict. He also told Access Hollywood on the red carpet:

Last year was a difficult year, and I can say that I personally, have never felt better. And I think the better I am, the better my family can be.

Our family is great and you know, there’s a lot of stuff that’s personal and… we’re grateful for the support. We’re a strong family and there’s a lot of love in our family and we’re just really grateful for everybody’s concern.

My life has changed, in many ways, for the better.
