According to Wikipedia: David Michael Hasselhoff, nicknamed "The Hoff", is a tall American actor, singer and songwriter who is best known for his lead roles on Knight Rider and Baywatch. He also crossed over to a successful music career, primarily in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany during the late 1980s.
David Hasselhoff gave organisers a sore head over fears he would get hammered on stage. The Baywatch legend had all alcohol removed from his mini-bar and dressing room in an effort to stay sober. We're told: "David is a lovely big-hearted fellow but no matter how hard he tries, he always likes a drink." So be warned - if you're a booze-carrying waiter, whatever you do don't hassle the Hoff.
