Jeremy Piven is on B’Way’s Sh*t list, David Hyde Pierce takes jab

It seems as if everyone’s getting douche chills from Jeremy Piven these days–the NY Post has two items in Sunday’s paper that highlight Piven’s Broadway fuck-up.  The Entourage star who unceremoniously quit his gig on Broadway’s Speed-the-Plow last year due to mercury poisoning (which he blamed on eating too much sushi), is on the shit list of every theater actor in New York. Not only does Page Six report that the Broadway community never wants to see his doucheface in New York, but Niles David Hyde Pierce also took a swipe at Piven in the paper’s My New York feature in the Sunday Post.

Page Six reports:

“He’s not welcome here,” Steven Pasquale, star of “reasons to be pretty,” ranted to ABC News Radio’s David Blaustein. “He should stay on the West Coast forever and . . . never, never return. It’s sort of like the Broadway-producer Mafia . . . They certainly don’t want him in town.”

David Hyde Pierce pretty much calls Jeremy Piven a pussy when he shared his favorite NYC sushi spot with Sunday’s NY Post:

“When we were opening ‘Curtains,’ I ended up going to Kodama so many times that when I had my check-ups, my mercury level was so high–this was pre-Jeremy Piven–that my doctor actually had to notify the state, because there’s some state law about when somebody’s mercury level is this high. I didn’t quit the show. I didn’t know that was an option at the time.”
